The world is facing a crisis like nothing before.  We are united in our battle against this sickness.

Many of you might be trying to think of what you can do.

We urge you to pray for the peoples of the world.  The medical professionals, the police, fire services and anyone else working in frontline services.  We also urge you to pray for your family, friends, neighbours and all of God’s children all over the world.

Reach out and make contact with people and let them know you are thinking of them and that they are not alone.

In line with guidelines from various governments all over the world.  We have suspended all gatherings, pastoral visits(unless urgently needed).  Many of us our self isolating.

Verse of the Day for Monday, August 10, 2020:

Jesus straightened up and asked her [the woman caught in adultery], “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” “No one, sir,” she said. “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.” — John 8:10-11

Thoughts on Today’s Verse….

Forgiveness is wonderful if it leads to life change. Jesus came to call us from sin, into his presence, and for his good pleasure. He gave us grace but is also gracious enough to not leave us in sin!

My Prayer…

O LORD my God, holy in all your ways, please transform my heart and my life into your holy will. Give me the assurance of forgiveness and the courage to leave my sin behind. In Jesus’ name I ask you for your gracious and unlimited power to mold my heart and my life into a clearer reflection of you. Amen.
