Covid 19

The world is facing a crisis like nothing before.  We are united in our battle against this sickness.

Many of you might be trying to think of what you can do.

We urge you to pray for the peoples of the world.  The medical professionals, the police, fire services and anyone else working in frontline services.  We also urge you to pray for your family, friends, neighbours and all of God’s children all over the world.

Reach out and make contact with people and let them know you are thinking of them and that they are not alone.

In line with guidelines from various governments all over the world.  We have suspended all gatherings, pastoral visits(unless urgently needed).  Many of us our self isolating.

Verse of the Day for Monday, April 13, 2020:

I can do everything through him [Christ] who gives me strength. — Philippians 4:13

Thoughts on Today’s Verse….

I don’t know about you, but I know I’ve grown soft and spoiled because of all the conveniences that I have allowed into my life. Could I honour God with my praises and thanksgivings if these conveniences were to suddenly vanish? I hope so. I want to be like Paul and live with the assurance that I can withstand any situation with the help of Christ.

My Prayer…

O God, without you my strength would fade and my confidence would fail. Thankfully I will never have to worry about this because your grace, your Spirit, and your Son will strengthen me and help me weather any storm. Thank you, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
